Where else to go for help with money and debt

  • Victorians who are not eligible for MoneyHelp financial counselling because they do not satisfy the above eligibility criteria can contact the credit and debt service of Consumer Affairs Victoria on 1300 558 181 for referral to a financial counsellor.
  • Primary producers, fishers or people who run small rural businesses and are suffering financial hardship can contact rural financial counselling services on 1800 686 175.
  • People who live outside Victoria can seek help from financial counsellors in their area.
