What is the Consumer Action Law Centre's role in MoneyHelp?
The Consumer Action Law Centre (CALC) is a community legal centre that provides free legal advice and representation to vulnerable and disadvantaged consumers in Victoria. CALC works directly with consumers and provides legal assistance and professional training to community workers.
CALC is responsible for the ongoing management of the MoneyHelp service and operation of the phone financial counselling advice line.
CALC is jointly funded by Victorian Legal Aid and Consumer Affairs Victoria.
